Sean Logan takes 1st at The Freaks Come out at Night BMX Dirt Contest

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

On May 31, 2008 at The Compound Action Sports Ramp Park in Lake Peris, CA. Sean Logan took first place at The Freaks Come out at Night BMX Dirt Contest. Sean was competing in the 20 man Pro BMX Dirt contest. Over the course of the night he competed with top name riders such as Mike Saavedra, Dylan Stark, Dan Norvell, and Brian Johnson.

Here is how the event went down. Each rider was given 3 runs, their two highest scored runs were averaged together to determine their placing. Sean’s first run was played safe and did some straight tricks and than 360 variations over the last couple jumps. His 2nd run he decided to step it up with a 360 on the 2nd to last jump straight into a 720. On Sean’s 3rd run he decided to let it all out and go for the win, he started with a 360 into a 360 variation into another 720 that he landed clean and better than any of the other pro’s through out the night. With not holding anything back and going out for the win, Sean was able to pick up the highest scores of the night and beat out the other competitors to take the win.
